Server Philosophy

CraftEra has a friendly and open policy towards players of all types. That being said, racism and excessive cursing is not acceptable on the server, and will likely result in a ban. If you are having a flame war, or something that requires the use of a lot of chatbox space, please keep it to /tell. This way, the chat remains clear for legitamate conversations, and you can continue to have fun. Users who repeatedly spam the chat will be warned, kicked, and then banned.
Usually, CraftEra staff will emply a 3-strike policy. The first strike is a warning, the second a kick, and the third a ban. Depending on the severeity of the issue, you may be banned from anywhere between one hour or permanently. However, certain situations, at the staff's discretion, will be an instant ban, without any strikes. It is up to the staff themselves. If you feel that you have been unfairly banned, you can visit our site, www.craftera.com, or contact dreadiscool or yekaa on our IRC Channel.
Asking for ranks is something that is also not tolerated in the server. If you ask for a rank, you're just proving that you don't deserve it. If you truly wanted to help the current staff, you wouldn't burden them with requests for a higher rank. It creates stress that could have just been avoided. Moderators are picked by the admins if they prove themselves. New players who join and ask for a rank will be ignored or kicked. If you were us, what would you do? Believe every person on the internet when they say they have years of experience?
